# Compliance & Traceability

To ensure transparency, accountability, and regulatory alignment, Livestockmon incorporates a set of foundational compliance features. These mechanisms provide trust across all layers of the ecosystem — from individual farmers and vendors to institutional investors and government regulators.

#### Immutable Blockchain Logs

All critical events — including livestock registration, health updates, ownership transfers, and transactions — are recorded on an immutable Ethereum blockchain ledger. This ensures that every interaction is permanently time-stamped and tamper-proof, allowing for full auditability by authorized parties.
